Amethyst

Inspired by amethyst, a crystal long associated with protection and inner calm.

Soft layers of violet, mauve and grey create an ethereal, mountainous landscape, with glimpses of gold emerging through the surface.

This mixed media painting explores the delicate balance between protecting our energy and remaining open to connection and possibility.

A quiet reminder that protection doesn't always mean building walls; sometimes it means creating a safe place within ourselves.
