RETURNS & REFUNDS

If you are returning an artwork from outside the UK, please contact me before arranging the return so that we can discuss the safest method of transport and any customs documentation that may be required.

Unless the artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described, the buyer is responsible for return shipping, insurance and any return-related charges that are lawfully their responsibility.

DAMAGED ARTWORK
ORIGINAL ARTWORKS

If you purchase an available original artwork through this website and change your mind, please email studio@sandisayer.com within 14 days of receiving your artwork to let me know that you wish to return it. You do not need to give a reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the artwork.

The artwork should be carefully repacked, preferably using its original packaging, and returned using a tracked service with appropriate insurance for its value. Unless the artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.

Please take particular care when repacking an artwork. You may be responsible for any reduction in its value resulting from handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to examine it.

Once the artwork has been returned safely, I will refund the purchase price together with the cost of the standard delivery option originally offered. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, any additional delivery cost is not refundable.

Your refund will be made to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned artwork, or receiving evidence that it has been sent back, whichever is earlier.

COMMISSIONED ARTWORKS
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Every artwork is carefully checked and packaged before leaving the studio.

If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or is not as described, please contact me as soon as possible at studio@sandisayer.com. Please keep all of the original packaging and, where possible, send photographs of the artwork, packaging and any visible damage so that I can resolve the matter with you.

Where an artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described, your statutory consumer rights apply and you will not be expected to bear return costs that are my responsibility.

Commissioned artworks are created specifically for you following our agreed brief. Where an artwork is genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, the usual statutory right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind may not apply.

Before work begins, we will agree the principal details of your commission, including the size, approximate colour palette, price, timescale and any other relevant requirements. I will also keep you involved as the artwork develops.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights if a commissioned artwork is faulty, damaged or not as agreed.
