Opal

This abstract landscape is inspired by the natural beauty and symbolism of the white Opal stone.

There is a quiet stillness in this piece. Its soft, pale expanse feels almost like a held breath. From the expanse emerges a horizon that refuses to be ignored, a surge of neon colours inspired by the shifting flashes of colour seen within white opals. It flickers with life, with energy, with something just out of reach yet impossible to forget.

This semi-abstract landscape, is about that moment when hope first appears. It maybe fragile, distant, but it's undeniable. The contrast between the muted foreground and the radiant horizon, creates a sense of longing, of moving through the dreary, lifeless landscape, to something brighter and bolder.

The message is clear, never give up and always have hope!
